Indulge in a behind-the-scenes journey from grape to bottle and uncover the mysteries of winemaking at Château Tanunda’s iconic estate. You start your tour by stepping beyond the velvet ropes of the Chateau to where the winemaking world begins. 

First enjoy privileged access to explore 100 year-old vine vineyards right on our doorstep. Here you will get up and close with an old vine vineyard, learn the cycles of the vineyard and taste the wine made from the vines you are standing next to. 

Next you follow the path of the grapes take to the winery as you delve into the heart of our basket press winery to experience firsthand the secrets behind our award-winning wines and Château Tanunda’s colourful history. Taste, feel and experience what is happening in the winery at that time of the year, and the journey the grapes take on their way to becoming wine. This includes a taste of future vintages either from ferment or from barrel depending on the time of year. 

With our expert private host by your side, discover what goes into the craftsmanship of winemaking at Chateau Tanunda from the vines right through to the finished wines.

Complete your immersion experience with bespoke tasting in one of our private tasting spaces of rare and collectible wines from 50, 100 and 150 Years old vines. This includes to tasting the iconic The Everest Shiraz from the current vintage, and from our museum cellar. 

EXPERIENCE INCLUDES: 1 complimentary bottle (per person) of the current vintage The Everest Shiraz to take home (RRP $330 bottle).
